Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) . Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a technique so that the appearance of websites and web pages can occupy the top position in organic search results. Organic search is the most widely used way by internet users to access and find the content they are looking for in search engines.
SEO is a strategy for increasing the volume and quality of website or web page traffic in search engines. SEO considers how search engines work, algorithms programmed by computers that determine what internet users will be looking for.
SEO needs to be done so that the website can receive more visitors in search engines when the website ranks at the top of the search engine page.
Why SEO is So Important?
By using SEO, it can bring traffic or visitors to your website. Traffic that visits your website is traffic that is indeed looking for the products or services you offer.
If your website uses SEO, it is likely to get more traffic than using paid techniques.
How Does SEO Work?
Search engines like Google and Bing use crawlers to collect information about all the content that can be found on the internet. Crawlers start from familiar web pages and follow internal links to pages on the website as well as external links to pages on other websites. The content on the page is augmented by the context of the links it follows which helps the crawler understand what each page is about and how the page connects semantically to all other pages in a large database of search engines called indexes.
As users type queries into search columns, search engines use complex algorithms to pull what is believed to be the most accurate and useful list of results for the query. Organic results can include website pages full of text, articles, images, videos, businesses, and other content. A lot of factors go into search engine algorithms and they evolve over time to keep up with changes in user behavior and advances in machine learning.
